October Commissions

Hello friends! Sorry for the silence, but I’ve come back with good news. I had two people reach out to me about a commission. Both took me out of my comfort zone, and I’m delighted by the outcomes!

First is a piece for a close friend of mine, Jessy Goode. She does improv comedy at The Bird Comedy Theater in Kansas City, MO. We worked together to create a promotional piece for her group, The Midwest Wing.

I decided to approach this with caricatures in mind. I wanted to capture the personalities of the group, and I feel like I did a pretty good job! Find this image in promotional material on their Facebook page.

The second piece is a digital pet portrait! I keep meaning to do more pet portraits, and I’m glad I was able to try my hand at doing one digitally. A friend’s pet crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and I feel so blessed to bring their family member to life like this.

I chose to use forget-me-nots for an obvious reason. Losing a pet is one of the hardest things someone can go through. Again, I’m so grateful to bring my art to a grieving family.

If you’re interested in a commission, fill out my custom order form here. Thanks for reading!
